Set one thousand years after the collapse of the Anthropocene, the series explores a neo-feudal world where the desecrated life-web has given rise to half-human, half-animal hybrids. The story follows Zakari, the last of the noble Homo-Tygrans, as he navigates a landscape ruled by The Dominion—vicious reptilian overlords intent on global subjugation.
 
Creative Team: Written by Timothy Parish, with interior art by Raymund Agustin.
 
Artistic Style: Agustin’s beautifully rendered black-and-white illustrations are inspired by Japanese sumi-e ink paintings, classic manga like Vagabond, and the stark, high-contrast palette of Frank Miller’s Sin City.
 
Cover Art: Book One features three iconic variant covers by writer Timothy Parish, Kane Gallagher (creator of The Underclass) and Mat Selwyn, whose tattoo-inspired Japanese woodblock style first sparked the vision for the Chimæra universe.
