Dr Eva Traum travels to the Solstice Insitute in Ubud, Bali, where she is asked to treat a mysterious patient who is suffering from Simulation Psychosis. As she researches into the life of her patient, she discovers that he is an influential game developer and founder of Transcend Corporation, who has been experimenting with a powerful new software named CHRONOS.
